It has to do with their history of being used by junk mailers.
SMTP2GO provides the CNAME Return path, DKIM, and Tracking domain records to add security to your email marketing. You can configure these records in the Verified Senders tab and add them to your domain's DNS setup for verification. You don't need to add an SPF record for domain authentication.
Alternatively you can add an SPF record for domain authentication if your customer has a large number of employees all of whom use an email address that is part of their corporate domain. https://support.smtp2go.com/hc/en-gb...-Sender-Emails
It's been around for a while, as Gmail, yahoo etc are starting block senders that don't have these basic security features. if you have access to the customers domain it is not hard. however, we normally don't use the customers domain as it can be considered a security risk by allowing external/internal sending from customers domain as a good IT provider will block this. We have couple of domains we use that are just connected to SMTP2Go, eg frommyprinter.com.au this works for us and our customers.
I find that creating Verified Domains in SMTP2GO a difficult task. The alternative offered, Single Sender, the same From Address for all clients, does not work for many clients.
I just got a break from SMTP2GO, perhaps due to my nagging.
They are extending their deadline until July 11th when all non verified email addresses will stop flowing.
You don't have to convert anything !
Just update the DNS record, you have to details on your screenshot ...
It's not the copier tech job but I prefer to spend 10 minutes to read the manual (and it's really easy) instead of converting 122 MFP.
Who create the SMTP2GO account and manage the domain (on Wixpress it seems) ?

.... if you do not have access to a customer's DNS webpage, how do you propose to do that?

She is referring to what you have on the last line of the screenshot in your first post. That company URL is being hosted by someone. The customer needs to contact the support people with that provider to have the entry added to the DNS record.

.... what customer is going to do that? It is not their job, just becuase SMTP2GO will soon require that?
If the customer had gotten a business plan with their ISP the ISP would have included all of that in the plan plus up to ten standard email addresses and 100 office 365 addresses. They would also allow employees to send using their personal email accounts such as gmail, Yahoo etc.
.... I think you have been out of the copier business for too long.
No customer is going to make that effort and no copier tech is going to want to spend a lot of extra time trying to track down a customer's ISP and convince them to change their DNS settings.
SMTP2GO is just not that important when there are much easier and quicker alternate choices available.
Now I'm confused.
Who created the SMPT2GO account ?
What is the linked domain name ?
Who's the owner of okeefesullivan.com ?
As I understand it, you created an SMTP2GO account (so it belongs to you) and you linked it to a domain name that belongs to you, right ?
If the SMTP2GO accounts belongs to each customer, screw them, it's their problem, they can pay you to solve it.
If the SMTP2GO account belongs to you, but you've linked it to each customer's domain, that was monumental bullshit from the start and you're going to suffer for it now.
If it's you SMTP2GO and your domain, just log in your domain registrat, update the DNS record (follow the SMTP2GO guide), and that's it !
It is proving to be quite a challenge to find a smtp provider that does not require a verified domain for each email sent.
I found one, Brevo, but it requires a techncian to type in a crazy long password approaching 50 characters.
In my experience, copier techs keep a Notes folder on their cell phone with 5-6 proven email solutions with short credntials that they can type in a minute. The customer rarely provides assistance.
I am beginning to sympathize with those copier service providers who charge a monthly fee to maintain scan to email functionality.
I am also noticing an increased likelihood of scans that reach their destination going to the Junk email folder. You can make the From Address a "Safe Sender" in Outlook but this seems to have no effect.
I am not an IT person and I do not think it is the responsibility of most copier techs to manage a customers email communications.
A favorite resort of the foreign residents of Yokohama during the summer months is the island of Enoshima. It is about twenty miles away, and is a noted place of pilgrimage for the Japanese, on account of certain shrines that are reputed to have a sacred character. Doctor Bronson arranged that his party should pay a visit to this island, as it was an interesting spot, and they could have a glimpse of Japanese life in the rural districts, and among the fishermen of the coast. "But as we are in for it," he continued, "we must make the best of the situation, and hope to go through in safety. Many a strong ship lies at the bottom of the sea, where she was sent by just such a storm as we are about to pass through, and many another has barely escaped. I was once on a ship in the China seas, when the captain told the passengers that it would be a miracle if we remained half an hour longer afloat. But hardly had he done speaking when the wind fell, the storm abated, and we were safe. The typhoon is to these waters what the hurricane is to the West Indies; it is liable to blow at any time between April and September, and is often fearfully destructive. OPIUM-PIPE. OPIUM-PIPE. "Surely your ladyship knows Dr. Bruce!" Hetty said with a vivid splash of colour on either cheek "A little time ago I understood that Dr. Bruce----" "I require that everywhere a strict investigation shall take place into the conduct of the soldiers with regard to the life and property of the civilian population. "Where were they buried?" They all pressed forward. "Count out. That's the only fair way," shouted the boys in the center. "Now, there's three loaves o' bread for the Sargint," said Harry, laying them down on a newspaper. "There's three for the Corpril; there's three for me; there's three for you." "'T?un't peas, thick 'un," Vennal would break in uproariously, "it's turnips—each of 'em got a root like my fist." At this moment of perplexity, some medicine, that she had obtained from Edith, occurred to her, and, with a feeling of confidence, and almost of extacy, she took a phial from a shelf in a cupboard where she had placed it, and, pouring out the contents in a large spoon, hesitated an instant ere she administered it. "Let me see," said she; "surely it was a large spoonful Edith told me to give—yet all that was in the phial doesn't fill the spoon. Surely I can't be wrong: no—I remember she said a large spoonful, and we didn't talk of any thing else—so I must be right." But Mary still hesitated, till, hearing a sudden noise in the court-yard, which, she conjectured, was her mistress returned, and as the child was getting worse every moment, she leaned back its head, and, forcing open its mouth, compelled the patient, though with difficulty, to swallow its death. The draught was taken; the rigid muscles relaxed, and for a minute the child lay motionless in her lap; but in an instant after, Mary could scarcely suppress a shriek at the horrid sight that met her gaze. The eyes opened, and glared, and seemed as if starting from the head—the fair face and the red lips, were blue, deepening and deepening, till settling in blackness—the limbs contracted—the mouth opened, and displayed a tongue discoloured and swollen—then came a writhing and heaving of the body, and a low, agonized moan: and, as Mary looked almost frantic at this dreadful sight, Edith's words, when she had given her the phial, "that there was enough there to kill," suddenly occurred to her—and then, too, came, with a dreadful distinctness, the remembrance of the true directions which Edith had given. It was nearly noon the next day, when the under-sheriff entered the room to ask if their opinions were yet unanimous. The galleyman still refused. "That for ye, coward," said Tyler, striking him with the flat side of his bared weapon. Oakley aimed another thrust which was again turned aside, and the smith, now flinging down his sword, seized upon his right hand and wrenched the dagger from its grasp. After a short struggle, Oakley fell heavily on the pavement with the blood streaming from his mouth and nostrils. HoME萝拉泷泽第4部资源
